Multi-Loc Expired Vaccination Report | Kennel Connection Help Center

The Expired Vaccinations Report helps you identify pets with expired or upcoming vaccination expirations. This report can be used to proactively contact clients, prepare for upcoming appointments, and ensure pets meet your facility's vaccination requirements.

⚠️ Multi-Location Databases: Expired Vaccination Reports are generated separately for each location. To review expired vaccinations across multiple locations, run the report individually from each location.

Running the Report

Navigate to:

Reports > Lists > Expired Vaccinations

From here, choose the type of report you would like to generate.

All Pets

Selecting All will generate a list of every pet in your database with vaccinations that are expired or expiring during the selected date range.

Example:

If you enter:

Start Date: 10/01/2026
End Date: 12/31/2026

The report will display all pets whose vaccinations expired or will expire between those dates, regardless of whether they have an appointment scheduled.

Pets with Appointments

Selecting Pets with Appointments will only review pets that have appointments scheduled during the selected date range.

Any pet with an appointment during that period will appear on the report if they have expired or expiring vaccinations.

Example:

If a pet has an appointment scheduled in November and a vaccination expiring in October, they will be included on the report.

Likewise, a pet with an overdue vaccination and a future appointment during the selected date range will also appear.

💡 Quick Tip: This option is useful for identifying vaccination issues before pets arrive for boarding, daycare, grooming, or other services.

Report Delivery Options

None

Generates a standard report that includes all qualifying clients, regardless of whether an email address is on file.

List Clients Without Email Addresses

Generates a report showing only clients who do not have an email address saved on their account.

This can be useful when preparing reminder campaigns and identifying clients who may require a phone call instead.

Email

Automatically sends vaccination reminder emails to qualifying clients based on the report criteria selected.

⚠️ Important: Email settings must be configured before this feature can be used.

Customize the Vaccination Reminder Email

You can customize the message sent to clients when using the Email option.

Navigate to:

File > Lists > Business Info > Email Tab > Special Email Tab > Vaccination Expiration Tab

From here, you can modify the email wording to match your facility's policies and communication style.
