Help CenterPet Detect label printing allows you to quickly create identification labels directly from KC Cloud, helping staff easily identify pets, belongings, medications, food containers, and other items throughout your facility. By integrating your Pet Detect printer with KC Cloud, labels can be generated directly from the Dashboard and Schedule views, reducing manual data entry and helping maintain accurate pet identification.
If you would like to use your Pet Detect printer in KC Cloud to print labels, please reach out to our support team any time Mon-Fri between 8am-7pm EST at 888-486-4343 option 2 to be given files and instructions before taking the following setup steps.
Setup:
Click on Setup>System Options>Local>Pet Detect
Select the color you want assigned to your printer. This is helpful if you use multiple colors of tape through multiple printers.
Quick Tips:
The Remember Last Size option stores the previously selected label size for each pet, reducing the need to select a label size every time you print.
Enabling the system-generated barcode option allows KC Cloud to automatically include a barcode on every label, helping streamline pet identification and scanning workflows.
Once your settings are where you want them, click Save in the upper right corner and you're ready to start printing with your Pet Detect printer!
